Would a popular and lively forum added to a website improve its ranking?

get ranking
Denise P asked:

Would a popular and lively forum added to a website improve its ranking with Google and other engines? What is the best forum to add to a website if you want to ensure that all postings are monitored? OK, two questions but hopefully someone here knows the answer to at least one. Many thanks!

No never Google and Yahoo have banned the word forum, chat room and other forms of message boards, Why ?

Because they have been used to bump up page counts and page rank Google and Yahoo noticed with the sudden mass forums that pop ed up everywhere.

So no from me i have owned websites for around 7 years now and i never paid for my websites rank, my sites were on page 1 or 2 above most paid for sites and i done this by making my site large the larger the content the better you will be noticed also key words play an important part and finally add something to your site daily and always change the homepage never let that go stale, add daily news a calender, this day in history on your homepage that way every time google bot and yahoo spider visits your site the content is fresh and different.

Never link to sites unless they link to you because if the bots follow a link to a site on your pages and the bot can’t get back to your site then this is a -2 points always link to websites that have the same content as you +2 ok.

    Good luck

    James
