    I think I can finally say not best ever.

    I gotta say Borque and Coffey were better than Lidstrom…

    But I really don’t remember Borque and Coffey… I’m just a youngen.

    Sneaking in the top 10, or solidly in the top 10. Either way, he is a keeper!

    A really beatuy but he is not the best in his era. **** em or Love em Chris Pronger is the best defensemen of his era.

    He’s not the best to ever play, But currently he’s Number One..

    Definitely somewhere in the top 20. Bobby Orr is the best d-man of all time for revolutionizing the position. Before him, d-men were actually defensive-minded and would rarely even dream of going on the offense.

    I would say Lidstrom is the best all time… I know he is not the conventional defenseman looking at the history of the game, he tends to herd more than he hits… but he totally controls the game more than any other skater out there in a game. I think he and Sergei Zubov are phenomenal about their abilities to do that.

    Lidstrom, best of all time for me.

    I rank him as prbably 5th all time. His Norris wins, 3cups, conn smythe, demeanor, play style, and offensive touch make him great.

    Glen, Pronger is by no means the best of this era. He’s a goon and he is nowhere near in skill comparison to several dmen. True, he can score, but he’s a **** and has no regard for rules

    pronger is terrible and lidstrom is definitely in the top 10 probably 6. bobby Orr is the best off all time
