		<description>Yeah most colleges don&#039;t even look at class rank much anymore.  A lot of high schools have stopped giving out the awards for valedictorian and salutatorian, so it&#039;s kinda falling to the way side.  But it is important to keep your GPA up and make sure that you find lots of extracurricular activities.  Colleges want someone that will work hard but still be able to contribute to the culture and community of their campus as well.</description>

So even if you&#039;re number 1, or dead last, it&#039;s not all a college will look at. Make sure you show colleges you&#039;re a well rounded, involved student.</description>
