For your site to be recognised by major search engines i.e. Google, you will need a designated domain. Have you thought of doing this? There are really inexpensive hosting companies out there, I particularly like nearlyfreespeech.net, they offer a pay per bandwidth option which is really cheap. Once you have a registered domain it's just a matter of transferring all your articles from your present subdomain to new domain. Contact me if you have any questions.
