   It’s possible to get up to a three star (***) rank in each cup, but only if you finish with a very good time.

   You have to beat all the computer players by quite a way to get star ranks. Try to have at least a 5 to 10 second lead when you finish each race of the cup.

   i have 1 stared 1 cup (mushroom) i was atleast 5 secs ahead of all of them and it was 50cc

   well iv gotten ahead of the computers buy 20 sec. but i didnt get triple star rank (***)

   I think that if you win at least 3 out of 4 races in a cup you get 1 star (and end at least second once I think) it also depends on your other racing skills also try not to drive on grass etc. Try not to use many items (if you are going for 3 stars) You don’t get a triple star rank just for being fast your driving must also be “flawless”. It takes a lot of skill than just winning. Practice more!

   It’s not true that you just have to get first in all the races of the cup in order to get a star – you can get as low as a B rank even if you got first every time.

   All of it has to do with your added up time for all of the four races you raced – just try to get it done in the least time possible, and don’t wory about what the computers do.
