		<description>I don&#039;t think it matters what your school is ranked. I think most adcoms understand that many students may have chosen a lower-ranked school simply because it was less-expensive or they may have received a scholarship there. Also, many students might just go to schools near their home so they can live at home with parents and save money. There are a million reasons why a person wouldn&#039;t go to the best school they could get into. Also, I think the level of difficulty is the same at every school.

I think it would only be a &quot;soft factor&quot; if you went to an ivy league college. So if you went to Harvard they might bump up or chances a little bit but otherwise it doesnt&#039; matter</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve never even heard of college rankings.  A few colleges will have a valedictorian, but none of the schools I&#039;ve attended did any more in the way of rankings.  Besides, I can&#039;t imagine a grad school in, say, physics comparing your grades against someone who majored in art.  Your GPA, test scores, letters of recommendation, and experience are what matter.</description>
