Alright, I like to play Halo 3 online and I want to rank up. I play with my brother on the same xbox online. When I get more kills than my brother online and our team wins, he ranks up higher and either I don’t rank att all or my rank gets lower. What’s Wrong?

well halo is ranked by single player progression , in other words, u have to get more kills than your best kill streak, i would say your brother used to **** but hes gotten better, u on the other hand has ****** the whole way threw or kicked @ss alot.
First you need a gamertag. There are two sets of playlists, Ranked and Social. Playing Ranked is the the fastest. Ranked is building up skill levels. Social just earns exp. Every time your team wins you get exp points. Every time you lose or tie nothing happens. Plus go to Bungie.net to learn more about global ranking.

The higher up you rank the longer it takes to rank up again so if you just keep playing then eventually you will rank up. It doesn’t really matter how many kills you get in the game either. You just have to win the game and you will get exp. Plus if you play on the double experience weekends then you will rank up a ton faster.
