How easy is it to be promoted to the highest rank in the RAF, starting as a pilot (officer) How many automatic promotions are there, and then how many do you have to earn.

I want to stay in the military and give full service, maybe not even retire aftert the 23 years.

I’ve been told that if you have a certain amount of college credits you start out in the Navy at a higer rank. (E2 or E3 I believe) If that’s true, does that start after boot camp? Does it increase your pay right away?

I would love to know at least the approximation years to advance into a higher rank. Thank You.

I was in a njrotc program and i know that if you were in it for so long then you can start off with a higher rank going into the military. Is this true, and also are there other ways too. I have heard of some people going into the army and completing a more difficult PT test before starting basic and earning a higher rank for it. Are these true, and are there more ways?

Would going to West Point get you at that rank?

I signed up as a E3. I haven’t left for basic training yet. I want to know how fast I can advance in rank at least to sergeant. I signed up as a cavalry scout.
