I’m trying to rank about 100 PCs to figure out which ones should be replaced/upgraded (we have funds to buy about 20 PCs). Assuming all meet the minimum criteria for job performance, how can I rank them for comparison purposes? They are all made by either Gateway or Dell and all are running the same OS. I’m looking for a formula, something like Processor Speed (Ghz) + 2*RAM + HD Capacity (GB). This will give me a number and enable me to sort. Do you think this is good enough? Any other ideas for quantitative comparison? Thanks!
